A networking event in Leicestershire is has taken the local business community by storm.
Social Circle, hosted by digital marketing agency Insight Consultancy and serviced-office provider Landmark Property Solutions, has become a hub for professionals looking to connect and collaborate.
Launched in late 2023, Social Circle brings together local businesses, freelancers, students and academics in a welcoming, inspiring space. It is consistently well attended by the Leicester business community and incredibly well-received, with 93% of attendees reporting they’ve made valuable connections and 100% recommending it to others.
The concept of Social Circle came about when Insight Consultancy identified a void in central Leicester – particularly in New Walk– for accessible professional networking opportunities. In partnership with Landmark Property Solutions, Insight launched the Social Circle Networking Event, an initiative aimed at developing connections within Leicester’s diverse business sector.
Speaking about Social Circle, Insight Consultancy’s Managing Director, Inzar Haq, said: “We couldn’t be happier with the continuous growth of Social Circle. What started as a small networking opportunity has evolved into a well-known event that brings in many regulars and a great deal of new attendees each month.
“At first, it was difficult to source monthly speakers, but now we have a waiting list of individuals and businesses wanting to speak at the event. We look forward to continue witnessing Social Circle thrive and the valuable connections that are building within Leicester.”
The free, in-person networking event was established at New Walk and designed to offer entrepreneurs, freelancers, contractors, and small businesses the means to expand their professional and social networks.
Each event is led by at least one guest speaker, with past guests including business coaches, social media consultants and local academic leaders – all who offer expertise specific to the needs of the local professional community.
Run monthly, the event promotes Insight and Landmarks’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by supporting local business growth through a platform for networking and learning.
